About the Artist

Amy has always had a love for the arts, to include singing and playing the piano since childhood but it was not until later in adulthood that she discovered her love for oil painting. As a native of Wilmington, NC, she developed a passion for the ocean early in life, spending many summers of her youth at Wrightsville Beach. She enjoys photographing and oil painting Marsh, Sea, and Landscapes.  She is captivated by the clouds in the sky as the Creator presents it.  Amy now gathers most of her inspiration from scenes of the NC and SC coast, as well as, Seabrook and Kiawah islands, outside of Charleston South Carolina.
